Montreal’s GrimSkunk will tour western Canada from Winnipeg to Vancouver this October 2012. It’s the first time GrimSkunk will be out west since the release of their new album entitled SET FIRE! Recorded by Gus Van Go and Werner F (Priestess, the Stills) in Sydney, Australia, SET FIRE! is a musical journey to the other side of the world, where spontaneity and instinctiveness were foremost from start to finish of the creative process.

(One exceptional song, the delightfully multi-personality-disordered Moral Bigotry, does all of the above in just over three minutes.) It’s also, 21 years after their recording debut, some of their most forceful and tuneful writing to date.
